I have served for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency for nearly 20 years in four different job titles. The entirety of my career has been in Region 4 within three different divisions of the Agency. I have worked from the Region 4 office for 17 years. During this time, I have built an excellent working relationships with both Regional and Statewide staff within the Agency as well as many other non-agency wildlife professionals and stakeholders. Throughout my career, I have gained the experience, skills, knowledge, and passion for game species management that would be a valuable asset if chosen for this position.

Regional Species Program Biologist

  • Region 4 species coordinator and representative for deer, turkey, bear, waterfowl, small game and furbearers, upland game birds, and disease monitoring.
  • Coordinate all regional activities and implementation for data collection, population monitoring, planning, and management of game species.
  • Supervise and train staff for completion of species data collection and management goals within the Region.
  • Regional biologist for the Statewide deer, turkey, bear, and CWD teams.
  • Assist with planning and projects for habitat improvements and management of game species.
  • Guide the Regional season setting process for game species.
  • Perform outreach and communication related to game species management to promote the Agency and engage stakeholders.
