  • Assists the Soldiers that are assigned to HHD JFHQ with all things related to human resources.


  • Assists the Soldiers of HHD JFHQ with records reviews for promotion packets and retention packets if they have more than 20 years in the Massachusetts Army National Guard.


  • Works with the Soldiers of HHD JFHQ in updating their records, to include Award Memorandums that they do not have for awards that they are entitled to.


  • Works in IPPS-A and the G1 Record Brief Portal to update the Soldier's Briefs, as the Record Brief is a crucial document for Soldiers to have up to date.


  • Assists the Soldiers of HHD JFHQ in understanding the importance of keeping their IPERMS Record up to date is crucial for carrier progression.

  • Assists the Civilian Coordinator with duties to include funeral request input into G1 Database and mission spreadsheet in Microsoft Teams. Contacts Funeral Directors and when necessary, primary next of kin of Army Veteran to confirm honors request details.


  • Assists Military Funeral Honors NCOIC and OIC with daily duties, to include mission planning, budget forecasting, and planning for briefs to the G1 leadership as well as the Command Team of the Massachusetts Army National Guard.


  • Assists Military Funeral Honors NCOIC and OIC in getting prepared for ADOS Full Time Position, Hiring Boards, gathering necessary paperwork needed to conduct boards in a timely manner for successful hiring for new positions.
  • Assists the Soldiers of the Military Funeral Honors Program with human resources needs, including processing MDAY pay and inputting ADOS orders into DAMPS OCOIND. Assists Soldiers with completing ADOS packets for submission for full time positions within Military Funeral Honors.


  • Assists the Soldiers in Military Funeral Honors with Human Resources questions and concerning their military carriers and guides them on how to progress in their carriers at their home MDAY units.


  • Works on a daily basis with other directorates to ensure mission success, including G4 Supply, G6 Technology, G2 Security. Works with the directorates to ensure NIPR user accounts are created, equipment is ordered as needed, and when the Soldier's computers have issues working to have them repaired and back in the field as quickly as possible.


  • Works in Microsoft Teams, G1 Military Funeral Honors Portal, (TAPS), IPPS-A, DAMPS, IPERMS, My Unit Pay, ARRO.
