Responsibilities included central maintenance, building maintenance, powerhouse, industrial garage, tool room and new program install.

  • Planing of the summer shutdown projects-manpower, material, equipment, engineering and vendor support.
  • Support production areas with cost saves using the tool room to produce replacement parts and details, less expensive then vendor cost.
  • Implemented 3D printing for replacement plastic details and experimental improvement details.
  • Keeping the plant in compliance with environmental guidelines and also Ford FASO8 Safety requirements.

  • Plant lead for negation for labor clearances with UAW.

  • Launch of the 6FM35 Phase II and Phase III case and converter CNC machining lines.

  • 27+ years of successful manufacturing operations experience in machining, sub-assembly, building and facilities maintenance.
  • Effective leader with demonstrated ability to train, manage and motivate team members in multiple departments.
  • Selected by the Plant Manager to improve equipment up-time and over overall JPH of the 6F50 case converter CNC machining lines.
  • Plant beautification of roadway replacement project. Which involved removal and replacement of a 1/2 mile a concrete roadway. Project was completed with plant skilled trades, on time, and under budget.
  • Instrumental in the installation of surgical mask machines for project Apollo. At the start of the 2020 pandemic, when Ford had stopped production due to COVID-19, I was called back into the plant to put together a team of skilled trades to install mask machines.
  • Successful installation of Emotor machining Phase I and Phase II.
  • Launched the MOS agreement, met and exceeded all expectations for the area.
