Assisting GI Doctors with endoscopy procedures.

Handling specimens, setting up rooms and high level disinfecting of the instruments.

• Ran fiber optic, cat 5 and cat 6 cables throughout buildings
• Assisted in installing security cameras, tv's, and projector screens.

• Prepare rooms for procedure
• Properly stock rooms with equipment and scopes suited for particular procedures
• Responsible for tracking patients, bringing them to assigned room and prepping patient for procedure
• Assist doctor and nurse during procedure
• Familiar with biopsy forceps, snares, and clips
• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining scopes through custom ultrasonic machines
• Familiar with HALO and EUS procedures.

• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining patient rooms and med/surg floors
• Maintained linen supply on floors
• Recieved and properly disposed of sharps containers and other regulated medical waste
• Fully trained in all aspects of 7 step cleaning
• Full understanding of regulatory required environmental service procedures.
