• 3. You will receive an email from NoreplyNACI@uspis.gov to complete the SF85 National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) questionnaire if you have not already completed one in the past 90 days. The NACI is a background investigation including a five-year criminal history check using only United States information resources. Due to this limitation, if you have not resided solely within the United States or its territories for the past five years, the Inspection Service may not be able to complete your NACI, with some exceptions applicable to U.S. citizens only. If the Inspection Service cannot complete your NACI because of your residency in the past five years, you will be ineligible for Postal Service employment at this time.
