  • Throughout most of middle school and high school I used to train and volunteer from Friday to Saturdays at Jangstar Taekwondo School. I acquired a great obsession for my training and intended to get better with each passing class. Overall, once I got to high school; in a years time I would put about 1632 hours of practice into taekwondo. I made it all the way up to second degree black belt. I aspire to incorporate my training with other martial arts one day.

Accomplishments

  • During Operation Allies Welcome I was able to distinguish my team not by being the best at my position but by making sure those around were constantly putting there best foot forwarded into helping the refugees on there rough journey to new opportunities. For this I was nominated to receive an Army Commendation Medal and a coin that a chosen few earned from the general who commanded the base.
  • For my exceptional service as a Cargo Specialist I earned another Army Commendation Medal and also received an Army Achievement Medal. Lastly, I earned an Army Good Conduct Medal for reaching 3 years of outstanding service.
