
Currently serves as an Environmental Consultant within the Compliance Program, providing subject matter expertise and serving as the Division liaison for the South District and the regulated community. Delivers program-specific guidance on environmental laws, rules, permitting, compliance, industry developments, and regulatory impacts to staff and external stakeholders. Supports enforcement and permitting actions by maintaining technical expertise and ensuring consistent regulatory application.
Conducts environmental inspections, compliance evaluations, and complaint investigations to achieve environmental protection goals while meeting established service levels, key performance indicators (KPIs), and CAP metrics. Reviews non-compliance issues, provides timely regulatory guidance, and promotes consistent, practical, and legally compliant solutions that reduce unnecessary burdens on the regulated community.
Assists with reviewing reports to monitor workload distribution and program trends, supporting effective team operations and resource management. Promotes workplace safety by recommending appropriate safety equipment, providing discipline-specific safety training, and supporting district safety initiatives. Performs all duties in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, standards of conduct, and operational directives while maintaining a high standard of professionalism, accountability, and customer service.
