I am retiring from 35 years of service in the North Dakota Army National Guard. Fifteen of those years were as a traditional guardsman and the other twenty in the Active National Guard.
I have been an Army Engineer Instructor for the last 13 years of my career. I have had the opportunity to teach professional development classes to aspiring soldiers and the Army equipment operators course to newer soldiers. I have held numerous trades within the Army. One of them as an example being a fire control systems repairman for the weapons systems aboard the M1 Abrams tank.
Within the Instructor world I held the Branch Manager position for six years which included being responsible for five Army courses and 15 full-time personnel. I am good with computers to include Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook) as an example. I also like problem solving and critical thinking tasks.
My goal is to start part time then potentially examine full-time opportunities.
Thank You for your time.
