Summer Foster

As a CNA at Epworth Villa, I provide compassionate, hands-on care to up to 10 residents in the skilled nursing facility. My responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and feeding. I monitor and document vital signs, observe and report changes in residents' conditions, and help ensure their comfort and safety. I also support mobility, encourage resident engagement, and maintain a clean and respectful environment—always upholding Epworth Villa’s standards of dignity, quality care, and community.

- As a Patient Care Technician in the outpatient surgery unit at OU Health, I support clinical staff by providing essential patient care and ensuring a smooth, efficient workflow. My responsibilities include taking and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and weight. I room patients, assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers, and accurately document patient information in the chart. I help maintain a clean and organized environment by making beds, replacing soiled linens, and keeping patient rooms orderly. Additionally, I assist in restocking supplies and equipment to ensure readiness for procedures and patient care.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), I provide essential care to patients, assisting with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and feeding. I monitor and record vital signs, observe patient conditions, and report any changes to the nursing team. I also assist with patient mobility, ensure comfort, and support basic medical procedures. My role involves offering both physical care and emotional support to patients and their families, helping to create a compassionate and healing environment. At Timbers Skilled Nursing & Therapy , I am responsible for the wellbeing and care of 40 long term, palliative residents as well as being an essential team member in the Memory care and Rehabilitation hall.
