Oak Hill Hospital, Candy Stripe/Volunteer, Brooksville, 2018-11, 2019-01, Gained over 100 volunteer hours and developed a strong sense of communication and was able to sit down and learn about every patient. Cared for each patient with the same respect I would show myself, and I was consistently changing their water as well as attending to their needs. If they needed a snack, I was their person. Realized although life may seem hard or even impossible, there is always a positive way of looking at things, and I try to share this with every person I meet because of the experiences from this opportunity.

• Veterinary Intern at Broadway Oaks Animal Hospital, San Antonio
• July 2024 — August 2024
• Gained over 100 clinical hours, shadowed the Veterinarians as well as did everything your typical Vet Tech would do. This included injections, enemas, administering oral medications, clipping feathers, beak trimming, shaving, taking fecal or urine samples, cleaning ears, cleaning the kennels, doing laundry, sweeping and mopping, and more.

• January 2023 — May 2023
• While on a journey of discovering my interests (including law), I was able to intern for an amazing law firm and learn the contemporary customs of court. I sat in on multiple court hearings, which all proceeded through Zoom! In addition to that, I commonly worked on paperwork, filing, logging data, and greeting clients!
