• Technology Evaluation and Standardization - Currently spearheading the end-to-end Database, Integrations, Analytics, Cloud and AI solution selection process, rigorously evaluating and piloting cutting-edge technologies at Medtronic. Driving the endorsement of selected solutions as standard platforms by the Architecture board.
• Cloud Services and Platform Implementations - Proficiently orchestrated the implementation of AWS services adhering to the Well-Architected Framework, including VPC, Route53, Privatelinking, EC2, OpenSearch, AWS Transfer Family, Security Groups, RDS, and EKS. Additionally, successfully deployed and secured Confluent Kafka, Snowflake, Dataiku, ThoughtSpot, SAP HANA DB, Oracle Exadata, and SAP BW, ensuring resilient architecture and fortified security measures.
• Data Platforms Architecture and Administration - Orchestrated the installation, upgrading, and administration of a 24 TB SAP HANA scale-out cluster, devising innovative solutions to maximize efficiency, performance and saving significant infra costs.
• Advanced Kafka Cluster Management - Built secured Kafka clusters through SSL integration with zookeepers and Brokers, implemented kafka connect on EKS, built cloud clusters and enabled privatelinking, enabled Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Oauth by integrating with Azure AD.
• Integration and Security Enhancements - Facilitated seamless integration of multiple platforms and solutions with Active Directory, enabling a unified Single Sign-On (SSO) experience with Azure AD. This integration significantly enhanced both accessibility and security measures across the integrated systems.
