  • The Shack is a seasonal business. I managed it 7 days a week. We sold grilled & deep fried foods along with ice cream.  I had 6 people on the payroll. I did all the ordering, payroll and paying the bills. We were opened 7 days a week from 11 am till 9 pm.

I was the only cook in the building. I cooked for 34 children and the rest adults Monday through Thursday and Fridays was my shopping and cleaning day.  I took care of the dining room tables and chairs weekly and my kitchen was spotless! I love children and hearing and seeing some of the things I saw adults do broke my heart I had too much stress and had to resign.
