Accomplishments

Worked closely with Goodwill industries to provide complimentary haircuts to homeless veterans in the Peoria, Illinois area. Generated a program called “Buy A Vet A Haircut” which was very successful. It was also a very rewarding experience for everyone involved.

I did this for seven, and it still continues to be a great cause.

Additional Information

In 2001 I became an educator for the Brocato company. I received my training out of Joliet Illinois.

It gave me a chance to travel around the central Illinois area, and the opportunity to meet and mentor lots of people new and experienced to the Beauty industry.

Education is the best way to build your confidence in yourself and also your customers confidence in you.

Thoroughly enjoy my customers, have been behind the chair for 41 years. Really want to continue in the industry, but in a different capacity. Teaching would give me that opportunity.
