- Every Thanksgiving we prepare over 1,000 meals for the homeless. Each year I am assigned different tasks depending on where they need me
- I have scooped corn, turkey, and mashed potatoes into a box while making conversation with the person next to me to make the experience more exciting and joyful
- Worked well under pressure and on a time crunch while still having a smile on my face
-Boxed up sliced pies, cakes, and cookies and placed them in a big box that would be moved into the truck
-I loaded these boxes of meals and sliced desserts into a large truck that would then be delivered the next day.
- Sometimes I finish my own task before before others, so I would go around and jump into any other space where more help was needed even when I wasn't asked to
- Set up and worked a car wash in the parking lot of Hamilton Southeastern high school to raise money for the children in riley hospital
-Met every Tuesday morning before school for meetings to collaborate with my leadership team finding fun and interactive activities to not only get more club members involved but also ways to raise more money
-Planned a fashion show using many boutiques and stores within the fishers area to show off their beautiful clothes and raising money while also getting sponsorships for the end of the year dance
-Worked many miracle minutes during football games and basketball games running up and down the bleachers collecting money from the fans
- Baking and also working many bake sales at basketball and soccer games to help raise more money. During this I had convinced many people why a delicious treat would truly make a difference and make their stomach happy.
- I talked with many food companies and convinced a majority of them to donate food to the dance at the end of the year or just donate money to our club if they were not allowed to serve food to us.
-Helped set up and take down all decorations and food for our big dance
-Worked many shifts during lunches and sold sweatshirts, tshirts, and tickets for our dance at the end of the year.
-Lastly I worked many club fairs, getting people to sign up and be apart of such an amazing club. I even left the table a few times while someone was still there just to get more people to sign up for the club.
- I walked and ran with kids who are enabled to give them love and support
-I had two buddies that I switched out with every other practice until the last month when I got to train with my final buddy
- I had walked many laps and ran trails with my buddy all while keeping a smile on my face and making small talk.
- I competed right along side with them giving small motivational pep talks and of course smiling the entire time
-This was truly such an eye opening moment for me. The parents were very thankful for me being there for their kid, but truly their own child made an even bigger impact on me. I am forever grateful to be apart of something so moving.
