During this year of senior year I was a student who shadowed at hospitals and gained valuable experience by observing medical procedures and patient care. During this time, I also worked as a phlebotomy intern for 6 weeks, where I learned to draw blood and interact with patients under the supervision of an experienced professional. Additionally, at the end I earned my Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, which allowed me to provide basic patient care, and my Phlebotomy certification, which qualified me to perform blood draws independently. This combination of hands-on experience and certifications has prepared me well for a career in healthcare.
