Responsible for daily care of 125 to 150 residents. Follow up with MD's as needed reporting Labs, changes in conditions and reporting changes to families. Report to LPN and CNA staff and keep informed of changes in orders and/or change in care. Help as needed when staffing is short. Responsible for admissions, and documentation as well as staff completion of documentation prior to end of shift.

Critical Care/ Cardiac care nurse responsible for care of patients experiencing Cardiac issues, vascular surgeries and related issues requiring intensive care. Responsibilities included in home evaluations and assessments for long term care insurance holders as well as new clients health histories. I was responsible for recommendations for needs to make the clients home safe and compatible for their needs. Work involved travel in MD, PA and NY.
