• Every fourth Saturday of the month, I volunteered with a non-profit organization to feed and clothes the less fortunate of South Dallas. I assisted with setup, serving, and cleanup of each event and answered any questions or concerns people would have. I provided a happy and positive conversation with each guest, making sure visitors knew that our cause was genuine and was done out of love.

• I attended this church for several years, and around the age of fourteen, I began assisting with toddler care and the children's ministry as my mother was the lead children's ministry director.

• I volunteered to be a buddy for annual events and accompany a special needs student during the Special Olympics. As a buddy, I helped them get to athletic events on time, provided support and comfort, received medical attention, and participated in fun carnival game activities.
