As a Staff Accountant, I efficiently use QuickBooks software to maintain updated financial records and deliver bank reconciliations. Moreover, I generated financial reports including Profit and Loss statements and Balance sheets. My approach to detail guaranteed the accurate recording of financial transactions, which made our financial operations more efficient.

As a FAAS Intern at Ernst & Young, I supported client engagements by assisting with the preparation and review of financial statements and audit-ready documentation in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS standards. My responsibilities included testing samples, delivering trackers, and ensuring all work was completed in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. I collaborated with engagement teams to complete internal control procedures, participated in team and client meetings, and documented key decisions and follow-ups. I also worked closely with managers to ensure all required sign-offs were completed and maintained, while gaining hands-on experience with EY’s accounting tools and project management systems.

During my internship as a Private Equity Analyst at Axxes Capital, I gained experience in mergers and acquisitions and investment analysis. I worked closely on family offices and interval funds, conducting detailed due diligence and evaluating opportunities to support investment decisions. My role also involved building financial models to assess potential deals and preparing presentations to communicate key insights to the senior team, contributing to the firm’s overall investment strategy.

Dedicated to my role as a Financial Analyst Intern at Guardian Dentistry, I’ve had the privilege of diving deep into the world of healthcare finance. I conducted EBITDA evaluations on numerous dental offices within the Guardian Dentistry network.
