Fast and pleasant Restaurant Busser comfortable working in fast-paced dining rooms. Skilled at providing quick table turnovers and service staff assistance. Dedicated to supplying guests with clean, comfortable dining experiences. Also has lots of experience in hostessing and answering the phone with questions that people have about the restaurant along with taking to-go orders. Looking for that I work this summer while I live at the beach.
Penn Taproom is on the busiest strip in Doylestown, it's a bar that consists of indoor and outdoor seating that is heated all year around. During the summer there is never less than 20 tables seated at a time. Everyone of the employees helps one-another out at all times, we are all always in a position where if someone needs help we are there to do whatever they need. For me, I am a busser and a hostess so I have experience in both, I am more consistent as a busser because I need to be moving and making sure all the tables are being pre-bussed, cleaned, and set correctly at all times. I helped servers expedite food and drink orders during busy hours by running food from the kitchen quickly and accurately, I also have experience in training new employees.
Station Tap House was a more hostile environment than Penn Taproom, where I work now. It's location is more on the edge of town and did not attract as many costumers. My co-workers were not respectful towards the costumers or their co-workers. The management was not very good and was very hard to work for. My first job was here and I worked there for about 2 year as a hostess. Our jobs as hostesses were to seat people along with take online orders, especially with starting right in the middle of Covid, we were only open for take-out so our job as the hostess was to take online orders.
