Hello, I’m Tamia Thomas. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Liberal Arts from Florida A&M University in Summer 2021. I'm recent graduate with a Master’s in Couples and Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University. Offering comprehensive experience with individuals, couples and families in school and private practice settings. My commitment to community service has been demonstrated through various roles in community-focused organizations. Additionally, I am a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., having been initiated into the Delta Eta Zeta Graduate Chapter in Fall 2022.

PROMISE PROGRAM
I am currently providing services at Pine Ridge Educational Center and working with children and teenagers from the age of 8- 17 years old, working through SEL groups and having sessions with students after group under the supervision of Anne Rambo.

BLUE UMBRELLA
I am providing services at Breakthrough Center sponsored by Blue Umbrella. Patients are treated with Ketamine, administered through a nasal spray, Spravato. Throughout this process patients are assessed before and after treatment and acquire psychotherapy within the modality of Positive Psychotherapy integrated with a Solution-Focused Approach. I also provide services in group therapy as a co-student therapist with members who are provided treatment through Breakthrough under supervision from Bailee Abrahamoff.
