I have worked as a medical transcriptionist since graduating high school. I started at Tenova and was trained on the job where I worked for 20 years until they outsourced us. While employed with Tenova I trained many new MTs over the years. Tenova is an acute facility and I typed many different inpatient reports and office notes.

Since leaving Tenova, I have worked as an independent contractor as a medical transcriptionist and for several years as a medical scribe, and I have worked for several different companies.ompanies. I have currently been with a company for over three years now, but they have lost some of their contracts, and our work is very slow.
