  • Downloads completed EKG's into MUSE. Completes review of demographic information within MUSE system and routes as per Editor workflow.

  • Daily review of MUSE application for EKG's and cardiac tests results with errors that result in non-charge capture. Reports issues to appropriate department manager (IM, ACC/CDU, Urgent Care, Pediatric Cardiology) for resolution.
  • Assists with preparing Holter and Event monitors and placing on patient.
  • Monitors for Holter and Event monitors due for return for all Cardiology locations. Follows up with patients for any unreturned monitors.
  • Maintain equipment inventory tracking and follow up of any missing equipment.
  • Daily review of vendor website (Medicomp) for completed monitor reports. Prints and reviews reports for arrhythmias needing urgent review by provider. Ensure teams at each Cardiology location have distributed completed reports to MD for resulting.
  • Weekly review of KPHC Holter Charge Capture Report. Review and work with MD's and nursing to resolve issues with Holter and Event monitor reports resulting in non-charge capture.
  • Answers telephone as needed and relays messages.
  • Establishes and maintains courteous and cooperative relations with public, patients and other personnel.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
