This job required me to work fast and productive with little rest. My boss would climb trees as tall as 70 feet all around the weld county area and cut dead, or overgrown, limbs off. What I would do is lower the heavier limbs or the limbs that could fall onto something valuable - like a house - with a rope. All of the limbs that ended up on the floor, I would have to move to our limb pile or onto a trailer, and while most of these limbs were decently light branches, some would be huge and heavy and in some cases I would have to cut them into smaller pieces. These jobs would have my boss and I working on giant trees all day at 100% without rest except for maybe a 45 minute lunch. It was a taxing job but it taught me how to work fast and productive and to not expect much rest.
