Verification specialist, proficient in determining patient benefits and eligibility, obtaining authorizations for outpatient therapy services, as well as palliative care and pediatric home health for multiple locations across the U.S. I create benefit statements to present to patients and their families. Precertification/prior authorization specialist. Worked remotely completing 70-100+ cardiac testing authorizations daily. Medical receptionist/traveled to remote locations as well. I would check patients out daily, send prescriptions electronically, run KASPER reports, make sure all consent forms were signed, scheduled appointments as well as hospital out-patient testing.
