Additional Information
I have been interning at PeoplePlaces Inc. Charlottesville since January 17th 2024 and will continue throughout the duration of the Spring 2024 semester. PeoplePlaces is a treatment foster care agency that values supporting both foster children and foster parents with the ultimate goal being reunification with birth families. As an intern, I have been transporting children to and from visitations with their biological families, completing monitoring calls and visits with foster families who currently do not have placements, writing intake reports when children come into care, helping with childcare for the foster parent support group once a month, and shadowing family consultants on their home visits.
