• Duties include assisting individuals with activities of daily living such as, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and getting to and from activities

• Provide emotional and social support, as well as accompanying on medical appointments and assisting with any medical needs.

-Introduced IONM surgeries and monitoring modalities for various surgical procedures.

-Learned about the importance of IONM during certain vascular, spinal, and cortical surgeries.

-Clinical rotation at Seattle Children's Hospital Summer 2023:

-Apply electrodes to the scalp according to the 10-20 system, take patient history, and record routine and prolonged EEGs.

-Apply electrodes using Collodion for Ambulatory EEGs.

-Did hookups on sedated patients in the OR.

-Observed ECOGs in the OR and worked with reading Physicians.

-Delivered healthcare services to a wide range of age groups, from neonates to adolescence, providing treatment for various illnesses and diseases.

- Clinical rotation at Swedish Cherry Hill Fall 2023:

Applied electrodes and conducted Routine and Prolonged EEG recordings for patients across all age groups.

-Inserting patient information into the computer, writing technologist reports, and taking patient history.

- Working with inpatients and outpatients.

-Clinical rotation at Providence Regional Medical Center Winter 2023 Spring 2024 and hired as a Per-diem June and July:

-Provided patient care in various hospital settings such as the ICU, EMU, and NICU.

-Collaborated with medical directors, neuro-hospitalists, registered nurses, and CNAs to enhance patient care.

-Analyzed data collected from EEGs using specialized software applications.

-Performed comprehensive evaluations of EEG recordings to ensure quality control and accuracy.

-Monitored patients during EEG tests to ensure safety, comfort, and proper functioning of equipment.

-Assisted in patient preparation for EEG examinations, including placement of electrodes and recording of patient history.

-Reviewed orders from physicians and ensured that they comply with departmental policies.
