SAFEKEY

My daily duties include assisting various staff to watch over children. This involves setting up for activities and making sure to watch over the children in my care. As a group I take children to their designated areas during certain times of the day this includes, attendance taking, activities, bathroom breaks. I take the children outside to play and monitor them. I keep track of how many children are in my care when they are outside and inside. Keeping track of how many children is a primary responsibility as it ensures the safety of the children. My responsibility is to ensure the children are following all rules and regulations of Safekey. This includes maintaining discipline in Safekey designated rooms such as the cafeteria or PE room. Lastly, I would ensure the cafeteria was clean at the end of my shift doing so I mopped the floors at the end of the day and sanitized all tables. I help with paperwork which includes writing down how many children receive snacks and exit the facility. I conversate with all my coworkers on our daily responsibilities and always approach all parents and teachers with a positive attitude. Customer service is used daily as I must greet all the children and parents and keep a professional manner. I shadow as a site lead and senior recreation assistant in assisting with their day-to-day functions. This allows me to gain the experience I need for this position. I have knowledge in all rules and regulations for the City of Henderson Safekey Program.

BATTLE BORN KIDS

My daily duties include assisting various staff to watch over children. This involves setting up for activities and making sure to watch over the children in my care. As a group I take children to their designated areas during certain times of the day this includes, lunch breaks, activities, bathroom breaks. I have assisted in field trip days which involved taking the kids to a water park and making sure that they followed all the rules and stayed safe. I help organize sports activities, and arts and crafts. My responsibility is to ensure the children are following all rules and regulations of the Battle Born Kids program. This includes maintaining discipline at indoor and outdoor recreation facilities such as the Multigen Recreation Center. I have worked a Senior Recreation Assistant when needed and will always step up to help. I work for Battleborn Kids when Safekey is not in session for the school year or for breaks during the school year.
