I chose general dentistry to build lasting relationships with patients & treat their conditions comprehensively. Giving back to local communities has always been a passion of mine, and a career in a community-based clinic would allow me to better fulfill this passion. I work best in a team-based environment and hope to apply my strengths in oral surgery and restorative dentistry.

• Worked with Dugoni's Pediatric Department to coordinate an event that provided screenings, cleanings, oral health education, & entertainment for over 100 children in San Francisco
• Coordinated over 115 volunteers by creating, assigning and explaining their roles for the event.

Community Outreach Chair - ASDA: 10/2022 - 10/2023

• Collaborated with local organizations to reach communities most prone to low access to dental care and low health literacy; most notably the homeless and elderly populations
• Coordinated fundraisers and drives to donate dental materials or supplies to underserved communities

Executive Director: UCSB Dental Buddies: 05/2018 to 06/2020

• Collaborated with local elementary schools to expand the program 10x its size
• Created a simple yet interactive curriculum for children to better understand the importance of oral health
