Straight out of highschool I began my work career in the water damage field. I knew I didn't want to go to college, so I could get experience from the start of my adulthood, in a field that has many trades involved. I worked for a company that was a parent company of a shared warehouse with plumbing and water damage, which worked to my advantage so I could learn both trades simultaneously. Not everyone did, or could do that, because of the extra workload and stress to come along with it. With about a year of water damage experience I started plumbing as well, and got 2 years of apprentice plumbing experience, still continuing my water damage journey as well. In 2021 I achieved my IICRC certifications for ASD as well as WRT. I also went to classes in Arizona and Anaheim, CA for Picote Solutions and Pipe Lining Supply to learn about cleaning and refurbishing pipes in home, to avoid digging them up and putting stress on customers. After leaving the company I was working for, I picked up a solar sales job that was self contracted to better prioritize family complexities while still continuing to be active and making money, which was temporary until I started traveling the country.
Before I was a full time employee, I was a baseball player all the way through highschool. This is important to me becasue I learned many leadership/team building skills that I still use in everyday life. I was born and raised in California and recently moved to North Carolina to stay close to my father that moved out here as well. I took the time in between now and when I stopped working to use the money i saved up to travel with my girlfriend and experience our country, before starting our new journey in North Carolina.
