Summary

Have been working in the Customer Service industry since 1988, with the United States Postal Service. Joined the Service as a Letter Carrier, and went into Management in 2014. I have served as Delivery Supervisor, as well as Station Manager, and detailed on a few occassions as Postmaster. Currently manage the city of San Leandro supporting the Postmaster with 145 employees overseeing the retail and delivery operations of the City of San Leandro CA. Joined the U. S. Army in 1984 on Active duty, and was Honorably discharged in 1988. Joined the U.S Army Reserves in 1989 and retired in 2021, achieving the rank of Command Sergeant Major working for a General Officer. My last assignment was the Senior Enlisted Leader for an organization with 4500 Soldiers (men and women)

  • Ensured our Soldiers were trained to do their peacetime mission as it relates to the training preprations of other Army units traininig validation to deploy and conduct wartime mission
  • During deployment was Senior Enlisted advisor to General Officer responsible for the Southwest Asia Theater network (Signal Communications)
  • Had Command and control of digital computers and phone network that was maintained directly by Subordinate units, to include over 3500 Soldiers and Civilians maintaining the security, operational and maintainence of entire network.
