  • Penn State Cares ERG - In March 2024, I took the initiative to create an Employee Resource Group (ERG) at Penn State, launching 'Parenting Outside the Lions' for employees caring for children with special needs. Partnering with HR and a colleague focused on elder care, we created "Penn State Cares" and expanded the group University-wide that November. The ERG has steadily grown, building a supportive community—something especially meaningful to me as a parent of two adults with special needs. I am passionate about using my own experience to help others navigate similar challenges.
  • University Staff Advisory Council - Co-Chair of Outreach and Engagement Committee. I am in my third year serving on the University Staff Advisory Council (USAC), where I previously chaired the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Committee. As current Co-Chair of the O&E Committee, I support and educate commonwealth-wide StACs (Staff Advisory Councils) and oversee the execution of travel meetings.
