Leads military police platoon, squads and sections; leads military police detachments in support of battlefield and installation security measures; plans and coordinates security measures in enemy prisoner of war facilities and civilian internment settlements/resettlements; ensures all platoon equipment and vehicles are properly maintained and PMCS is current; counsel and mentor squad leaders for professional growth.
Provides analysis, integration, and synchronization of MP operations in support of all base operations; serves as the senior functional staff non-commissioned officer responsible for advising the Brigade S-3 and the Brigade Commander on matters relating to MP operations; provides personal staff support to the commander for law enforcement issues involving U.S. military and civilian personnel; serves as the Force Protection/Antiterrorism Officer for the Regiment; reviews and enforces force protection and physical security measures across the Regiment; conducts inspections and vulnerability assessments.
