Began my 20 year career in February 2004 with the Sheriff’s Office assigned to the Detention Center. Transferred to the Courts division in 2007, promoted to Corporal in 2014 supervising 7-10 Deputies. Promoted to Sergeant in 2018 supervising up to 40 Deputies and Corporals. The last 5 and a half years I was responsible for the security of the Montgomery County Courts Center as well as all County Commission meetings. I participated in interviewing prospective Deputies wishing to transfer to the Courts Center. I also performed disciplinary counseling to staff when necessary up to and including suspensions if necessary. I retired from the Sheriff’s Office in May of 2024.
