• Provide immediate and effective support to disaster survivors by assessing and processing applications for Individual Assistance (IA) programs, including FEMA grants, housing assistance, and other disaster-related services.
• Conduct damage assessments, interview applicants, and verify eligibility for assistance in accordance with federal regulations and policies.
• Assist with outreach and education to disaster-affected communities, ensuring that individuals are informed about available resources and eligibility requirements.
• Manage high-volume caseloads in fast-paced, disaster-affected environments, prioritizing the most urgent cases while maintaining accuracy and compliance with FEMA guidelines.
• Collaborate with state, local, tribal, and territorial agencies to coordinate disaster relief efforts and ensure smooth delivery of assistance to survivors.
• Use FEMA’s software systems to input, update, and track cases, ensuring that records are accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting on case status, issues, and trends to supervisors and other FEMA personnel.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills in interacting with disaster survivors and colleagues, showing empathy while ensuring that all actions are aligned with FEMA’s mission and policies

• Ensured the safety and security of all staff, visitors, and patients in the facility by patrolling the premises regularly
• Provided assistance to disabled persons in accordance with their individual needs
• Maintained cleanliness of facility grounds by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and removing trash.
