Terry Hutson

Through 40+ years of experience in both field operations, staff support, and management positions in various companies, I have participated in or managed many aspects of construction, business development, operations, and maintenance of large, complex pipeline facilities. My background has allowed me to participate in all aspects of business, from site preparation activities to air, water, hazardous liquids, and marine regulatory processes. I believe my extensive and multi-faceted background gives me a comprehensive understanding of business drivers, management of facilities, personnel, and support groups, and a strong set of decision making skills. My leadership style, collaboration mindset, and ability to set goals and measure achievement will lend itself to success in numerous positions.

• ENTERPRISE PRODUCTS ECHO TERMINAL (2011-2017) - Extensive involvement in completing a grass roots project to build a large, high volume pipeline transportation, storage, receipt and delivery facility. (Enterprise Products Partners’ ECHO Terminal). Worked with corporate support groups to develop and maintain operations and maintenance procedures, safety and environmental recordkeeping requirements, control room procedures, and emergency response and facility security plans. Served as Regional Manager, Operations for Metro Houston area, which included pipelines, pump stations, receipt/delivery facilities, and pipeline connections with other companies’ facilities. Area also encompassed large tank farm and pump station facilities associated with the Enterprise Seaway Texas City Marine Terminal, a USCG regulated high volume marine receipt/delivery facility. Responsible for development of capital project, recurring operating and maintenance project budgets on annual basis, and for reporting budget performance and results on a routine basis.
• ENTERPRISE CORPORATE COMPLIANCE TEAM MEMBER (2010) Selected to participate in corporate audit team to inspect, audit, and make corrective recommendations across multiple Enterprise Products facilities. These facilities included natural gas gathering systems, compression stations, NGL pipeline facilities, and cryogenic, fractionation, and separation facilities. These internal inspections were designed to ensure all facilities met regulatory guidelines, federal, state, and local. Areas addressed included pipeline safety, damage prevention, facility compliance, environmental compliance, and adherence to Operations and Maintenance procedures and protocols.
