In the restaurant industry, I worked constantly throughout shifts with no breaks, while I made sure customers received what they needed. I built relationships with coworkers in order to keep a friendly work environment. Throughout my experience in the restaurant industry, I built skills like cleaning off tables in a timely manner in the process of seating customers. I balanced several tasks throughout the shift like running food, cleaning tables, clearing the bar's bus tubs, baking bread every 10 minutes. I took reservations, and managed a busy work environment with different kinds of customers. I helped out servers as much as possible. As a server, I memorized all menus, worked the computer system, took part in front-house and back-house tasks as side jobs, took care of customers in a timely and friendly manner. As a babysitter for many years, I expressed patience for children, and entertained them by playing with them in their activities, and fed them. As a camp counselor I learned how to socialize with kids of all ages in order for them to have a fun and fulfilling time while at the camp. I also developed skills with making sure the kids were following directions and helping them build valuable friendships with each other.
