My name is Teyonna Davis, and I am an aspiring Limited Scope Radiologic Technologist with a strong commitment to patient care, professionalism, and continuous learning. I graduated from Houston High School, Class of 2022, and have since focused on developing the knowledge and skills needed to build a successful career in healthcare and diagnostic imaging.
Dedicated Sterile Processing Technician with a proven track record in ensuring compliance with health regulations and optimizing sterilization processes. Strong problem-solving and time management skills contribute to enhanced patient safety and operational efficiency.
I recently completed a year-long online Radiology Program through CCI Training Center in Arlington, Texas, where I received comprehensive training in diagnostic imaging, patient positioning, radiation safety, anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, Electronic Health Records (EHR), and healthcare communication. Through this program, I developed a strong foundation in radiographic principles and gained the knowledge necessary to support safe, accurate, and high-quality patient care.
In addition to my radiology education, I have five years of experience in Sterile Processing, where I assisted with the cleaning, decontamination, inspection, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of medical instruments and equipment. This experience strengthened my understanding of infection control, attention to detail, patient safety, and compliance with healthcare regulations. Working in sterile processing also enhanced my ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
Throughout my training and work experience, I have strengthened my skills in teamwork, communication, problem-solving, customer service, and professionalism. I am committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting efficient clinical operations and maintaining accurate documentation. I am currently seeking a clinical externship opportunity where I can apply my radiology training in a hands-on healthcare setting, gain practical experience, and continue growing as a healthcare professional.
My goal is to build a rewarding career in radiologic technology, contribute positively to patient outcomes, and become a dependable and valuable member of a healthcare team.
