I was a substitute teacher working in grades K-

I was a classroom substitute working in grades K-4. Beginning in

March, I was a permanent Substitute teacher in a kindergarten classroom. I was responsible for lesson planning that implemented state standards and district goals.

I worked one-on-one as well as with small groups to reinforce learning goals. I worked closely with the classroom teacher to help where needed. I assisted teacher with behavioral interventions and monitoring student progress. I also supervised students during lunch, recess and CATS.

Followed lesson plans left by teachers to continue student learning.

I was responsible for educating and nurturing students in a classroom setting. I created lesson plans that aligned with district goals, assessed student performance, created positive communication with parents, and collaborated with colleagues to ensure students success.
