• Provide oversight, leadership, and direction for the maintenance department including support of daily maintenance activities, outages, and capital projects. Guide maintenance strategies with a focus on condition based maintenance, reducing Human Performance Errors and Safety. Build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with staff, co-operative members, contractors and OEM representatives. Negotiate, set and maintain OEM and non-OEM alliance and maintenance agreements for the CCGT, Peaking Units and Solar.

• The Manager – Power Plant Gas Assets manages and oversees the daily operations & maintenance of multiple power plants (Big Cajun1, Bayou Cove and Sterlington). Ensures safe, reliable and efficient production of electric power in accordance with applicable federal, state and ISO/RTO regulations. Oversees technical staff, including maintenance, engineering, operations, and administrative support. Hires, trains/develops personnel.

• Manage and execute both scheduled and forced outages. Responsible for daily maintenance activities, including predictive, preventative and corrective maintenance. Capital and O&M budget management and preparation.

• Operations and maintenance of a 500 MW 501F combined cycle and 300 MW P&W FT8 peaking plant, including control room operations, outside operations, instrumentation and control work- acted as step up operations supervisor

• Capital and O&M project management. Balance of plant outage manager for 5 combined cycle units totaling 2200MW, responsible for planning, scheduling, cost control, contractor oversight, budget estimation, and execution. Examples of projects completed include: Cooling tower construction HRSG elevator installation Water Crop pipeline installation

• Progress Energy Maintenance Supervisor for 2000MW combined cycle plant. Manage and execute both scheduled and forced outages. Responsible for daily maintenance activities, including predictive, preventative and corrective maintenance.

• Operations supervisor on rotating shift For a 2000 MW combined cycle plant. Responsible for operations of 4 combined cycle 2X1 power blocks, both 501F and 7FA units with a 10 person operations shift.

• Operations and Maintenance supervisor. Plan, manage and execute both scheduled and forced outages. Responsible for a two plus million dollar O&M budget plus capital and outage budgets. Outage Manager during a full 7FA rotor replacement and steam turbine major

• Operations and Maintenance supervisor. Plan, manage and execute both scheduled and forced outages. Responsible for a two plus million dollar O&M budget plus capital and outage budgets. Outage Supervisor during a 75 MW Steam Turbine Generator rewind.

• Tiger Bay Plant, Fort Meade, Fl Maintenance Planner for Hines, which consisted of three 2X1 Siemens 501 Combined cycle units and Tiger Bay which consisted of a 1X1 combined cycle unit. Responsible for outage, corrective and preventative maintenance planning using the Passport work management system.

• Tiger Bay Plant, Fort Meade, Fl Operate and maintain multiple combined cycle units including Siemens 501 F and GE 7 FA combustion turbines. Operate units using multiple control systems including Westinghouse WDPF, Emerson Ovation, Siemens TXP, GE Mark V, and GE Mark VI. Perform routine preventative maintenance, corrective work orders and outage work as assigned.

• Operate and maintain Siemens 501G combustion turbine plant both as a simple cycle and thru transition into a combined cycle plant. Assist in commissioning, system walk downs and establishment of electrical preventative maintenance program.
