Summary

Over the past three years, my academic and professional journey has shaped me into the purpose-driven hospitality leader I am today. I am currently a senior at UNLV studying Hospitality Management, working as a Talent and Culture Director for Chick-fil-A. I completed my hotel and operations internship requirement during my freshman year of college, seeking a job to satisfy the remainder of my work experience. To fulfill degree requirements, I initially viewed Chick-fil-A as a stepping stone. However, what began as a college job quickly became a life-changing opportunity.

Through intentional mentorship, leadership development, and a culture rooted in care, I discovered the power of purpose-driven work and my passion for creating meaningful guest experiences. My role as Talent and Culture Director has allowed me to invest in others, develop high-performing teams, and connect purpose with impact. In the future, I plan to apply for Chick-fil-A’s Leadership Development Program, with the goal of becoming an Operator and continuing to spread the culture that transformed my life.

My main areas of oversight include Hospitality, FOH Training, FOH Operations, and Team Engagement. My role responsibilities include;

  • Leading the FOH Trainer and Hospitality Teams. Designing FOH training plans and structures. Setting clear expectations, focusing on intentional coaching and development by providing direction and resources to achieve operational excellence.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate systems driven by opportunities for continuous improvement in FOH Operations. Analyze restaurant performance metrics to establish a strategic direction.
  • Cultivate and maintain a restaurant culture rooted in empowerment, trust, and value. Building and sustaining a team that feels cared for, who delivers service that reflects that same value and care.
  • Providing frontline leadership in daily restaurant operations, with a focus on cultivating an exceptional guest experience, and team development.
  • Ownership of FOH Performance Evaluations. Deliver clear objectives and actionable feedback, providing intentional coaching to foster growth and team engagement.
