Financial Associate II-Multi Product

I started Fidelity as a DC Associate Representative. I assisted clients by answering questions they had about their 401k's. My role served a wide range of needs. I assisted with doing withdrawals, loans, roll overs, updating contribution elections as well as educating clients on their employer plan rules. I created solutions for customers with specific problems and treated each person that called in as an opportunity for me to help someone. I listened and built a rapport with them so that I was able to deliver the best customer service.

In October I transitioned from working with 401K's to working on pension accounts. I have been selected for various teams. I started first with AT & T pensions but was asked to help with the new GE pension onboarding. In pension I help calculate benefit entitlements for my clients and I help them to coordinate the collection of their pension options on a timely basis. I ensure calculations and communications are in compliance with pension plan rules. I help to deliver guidance on complex financial models for decision-making and I focus on building relationships with my clients to ensure good customer service.

My most important role was to provide and ensure a safe and stimulating environment. To maintain order in the classroom and monitor the students to keep them on task. I assisted in planning and preparing lesson outlines and curriculum. I also provided feedback on the performance and progress of each student and administered tests and graded papers. The very best part of my job was being allowed to interact with the kids and care for each of them. I had to use patience and discipline daily, but nurturing and helping to develop little minds was the reward.
