For the majority of my life I played competitive volleyball as the team's utility player. I wasn't necessarily amazing in one position or skill but I was really good at almost everything and could handle any position if needed. It allowed our coaches the flexibility to focus on the actual game plan than how to cover our weak spots because we had so few.
Every company needs that utility player or that "jack of all trades". A sweet, bubbly employee who can cover the gaps with very little direction so you can focus on the big picture.. In every company I have worked for I have become that utility player and I think the hotel industry would be perfect for my skills if you'd have me.
