Summary

A life-long advocate who was recruited upon college graduation as union organizer and negotiator, who became a political operative and lobbyist, and finally a public policy analyst. Because of my diverse background in advocacy I look at policy from an organizing perspective. I believe in applied policy that can be used to advance the well-being of stakeholders.

I have been an organizer, negotiator, electoral field manager, lobbyist, and policy expert, in Missouri, Oregon, Delaware, and Washington, DC. I have worked for the best advocacy organizations in the nation including: Service Employees International Union, Kansas City AFL-CIO, Missouri NEA, Delaware State Education Association, and the National Education Association.
