Developed an environmentally safe method of washing and reusing air-stripping tower packing saving clients thousands of dollars each year in packing replacement and disposal costs.

  • Mr. Shaw obtained a broad range of environmental and related experience working for the State of Alaska being attached to the Alaska Army National Guard (AKARNG) as an environmental specialist that quickly moved into other responsibilities and positions. His AKARNG responsibilities included conducting environmental condition of property assessments, facility audits, NEPA review of projects, Department of Defense trained Pest Manager, real property management, assistant GIS technician, and finally serving as Environmental Program Manager. This required a working knowledge of Army Regulations AR-200-1, 32 CFR 651, and a host of other federal and state regulations. Responsible for writing and coordinating requests for proposals, implementing contracts, contractor oversight, environmental compliance, and developing and implementing budgets in excess of over $1.3 million. This position provided extensive experience with Microsoft Office software suite of programs and ESRI’s ARCGIS mapping software.
