  • Joined the traveling Data Center crew which I believed has been beneficial to my career since the industry is moving in that direction. Obtain a wide spread knowledge of Data Centers and learn many different types of installations and ages of Data Center starting with Edge Connects with providers Comcast, Apple, Facebook,eBay. Everything from how to build out data halls and cabinet mounting to tile cutting, cable tray install, fiber/copper infrastructure install, head and patching, to device deployment/patching/up-linking.
  • 8 months in got promoted to Lead Tech for Microsoft CYS03 install which allowed me to learn immensely about OSP fiber, fiber splicing single and ribbon, and security systems. I ran projects for Comcast at Denver sites such as Dry Creek and Potomac Data Center, SSA Data Center at Denver Federal Center, and Ebay infrastructure/patch rack install/bubble head-end patching.
  • 1 year later got promoted to Foreman at JPMC Broomfield Data Center project with huge fiber count and many tasks for our crew, witch taught me about running larger projects and crews, having multiple tasks per day I'm responsible for and close mentorship helped me become a much qualified leader and Data Center Tech.
