Accomplishments

  • As a new manager, took a team that wasn’t delivering on deadlines to accomplishing all the tasks set by the business and moving a project that had been stuck in limbo for over a year to near completion despite global supply chain issues. Then took on a second team to manage and navigated both teams through a difficult corporate transition after the company was purchased. Implemented more team member engagement through daily check-ins that encouraged collaboration and promoted a great full-remote team environment.
  • Was a pivotal contributor on a team that designed and brought to market the first virtual private cloud solution targeted to educational institutions in the K-12 and higher education space. This included everything from sourcing the hardware to helping with the design and configuration of the compute layer using Apache Cloudstack and the storage layer using Ceph.
