Clinical Observation and Design Experience (CODE) (01/2022 - 05/2022)

• Worked with a group of biomedical engineering students and a physician instructor to identify improvements on health design choices in the emergency department.
• Participated in weekly clinical rounds at Grady and Emory to investigate medical device and clinical processes and conducted interviews with healthcare faculty regarding for select research and clinical subjects.
• Analyzed environmental, safety, operational, and device design choices in the emergency department and brainstormed how these features could be optimized.
• Presented ideas and solutions as a team to supervisor and other teams for feedback before proceeding with further research and submitting results.

Bioinformatics Senior Research Project Lab (12/2021 - 05/2022)

• Conducted protein model analysis on serotonin Protein Receptor using protein visualization tools PyMOL and UniProt Cluster Omega.
• Discussed protein selection based on evaluations of pathophysiology involving anti-emetic treatments in emergency medicine.
• Presented poster of findings and analysis to students and faculty in the School of Biological Sciences.

GT VIP Diabetes and Chronic Disease Systems (01/2020 - 05/2020)

• Analyzed Synthetic Patient Modeling data and validity of synthetic patient data generated by open resource database SYNTHEA through MySQL and Python.
• Determined statistical validity of open-source synthetic resources in lieu of gathering extensive real data by the CDC.

Field Director and Co-founder, EMSaT (Emergency Medical Services at Georgia Tech) (04/2021 - 05/2022)

• Founded an on-campus EMS organization at Georgia Tech to provide emergency medical assistance to students.
• Coordinated startup logistics with representatives and faculty at Georgia Tech.
• Organized guest speaker events featuring paramedics and emergency medicine physicians, as well as volunteer opportunities for members.

Field Director representing Georgia Tech, National Collegiate Emergency Medical Services Foundation (NCEMSF) Conference (02/2022)

• Networked with leaders from national collegiate EMS organizations and Journal of Collegiate EMS Research (JCEMS).
• Led small-group discussions on recruitment, training, and EMS outreach during COVID, while earning CE credits for EMS-related learning opportunities.

• Worked with campus counseling center to resolve issues surrounding the mental health well-being of students and campus community.
• Trained on how to provide appropriate care for students who seek help through counseling center using QPR training.
