· Educate residents on lead hazards and on the lead poisoning prevention.
. Educate residents on HUD grants on Lead Hazards abatement programs for homeowners and renters.
· Conducts field inspections to read and write construction specifications for lead abatement and rehabilitation work, and to enforce City and State codes.
· knowledge, of how to Prepare cost estimates for each repair item for inclusion in the construction specifications.
· Conducts site walkthroughs with contractors prior to bidding and knowledge of accepting bids on behalf of property owners.
· Monitors progress, quality of work, and compliance of contractors with specifications and applicable regulations on a regular basis, and have knowledge requires to correct corrections if necessary.
· Acts as a mediator between property owners and construction contractors.
