In the 8 years I was principal, we went from 15.2 average to 18.5 average and increased attendance rates from 77% daily attendance to 97%. We spent a lot of time working with Ruby Payne to help bridge and develop working relationships with students and staff.

I ran group meetings, developed treatment mileu, and planned daily activities for students. Worked on changes in thinking processes with students, ran grief recovery sessions and helped them make changes within themselves. My cottage had a 77% success rate reintigrating to the community.
