- Agentpak is an application and it helps insurance agents in quoting, issuing and binding the policy when it meets underwriting guidelines.
- For each state and type of Insurance there is a different Line of Business.
- It uses rating web service to rate the policy for determining its premium.
- It also includes batch jobs to generate policy documents at the scheduled interval of a given day.
- Client: The Norfolk & Dedham Group
- Technologies: Java 1.8, Oracle 13c, Maven 2.X, Struts, Spring, Jenkins.
Responsibilities:
- Worked as an individual developer on enhancements related to print batches.
- Worked on solving the ad hoc issues within a given time and updating to onsite within a given time.
- Attending the daily status meetings with onsite project leads to discussion about status and new requirements.
- Worked on monitoring timely batches and address any issues observed during Batch monitoring.
- Worked on monitoring tickets in the production support queue and address those tickets within SLA period.
